JustWatch Apps for TVs

JustWatch is available on Android TV, Google TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, LG TV, and Roku. Depending on your device, you'll get either the full JustWatch streaming guide or the JustWatch TV app. Here's the difference, and how to get the right one.

Which is the right app for me?

There are two kinds of JustWatch apps on TV right now:

• The full streaming guide (Android TV/Google TV, Apple TV, LG TV) lets you browse what's available across all your streaming services and jump straight into the right app to watch. This is the broadest JustWatch experience. They fully include the JustWatch TV streaming experience.

• The JustWatch TV app (Fire TV, Roku) is focused on JustWatch TV, our own free streaming service, launching in October 2026. It doesn't include the wider streaming guide, since these platforms don't support linking directly into other streaming apps. These apps are not available outside of our JustWatch TV launch markets.

On streamlining the Fire TV app for JustWatch TV

The FireTV app no longer supports opening other streaming services directly. This reflects a change in this TV platform’s policy, not something specific to JustWatch. In its place, this app is becoming a dedicated home for our upcoming streaming service: JustWatch TV. Meaning: to streamline the experience, we removed all titles that are not available to rent, or watch on JustWatch TV for free. Expect our catalog to keep growing with the full JustWatch TV launch this October.

We know some of you still rely on this app for the full guide across providers. You’ll find that on our other TV apps, or through "Play on TV" in the JustWatch mobile app. You can read more about this in our FAQ.

JustWatch on Samsung TV

Our Samsung TV app has been discontinued with the prohibition of opening other streaming service apps through our app – as a platform policy, not something specific to JustWatch. While we’re working on our JustWatch TV app for Samsung TVs, you can still use it as a Streaming Guide app, to manage your Watchlist an check where your movies and shows are available, what's New and what’s popular.

Will the TV app become available on other TV platforms?
